The new live-action series from Star Wars has arrived with The Book of Boba Fett, a spin-off to The Mandalorian that focuses on the galaxy's favourite bounty hunter, and it has now premiered on Disney+.

While deep secrecy has been maintained surrounding most of the plot of The Book of Boba Fett, recent teasers do hint at what we can expect, including just how Boba Fett survived the Sarlacc pit in 1983's Return of the Jedi.

The series will see Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen reprise their roles as Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand, as they reside on Tatooine and navigate the galaxy's underworld while fighting for Jabba the Hutt's old territory.

WATCH THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT ON DISNEY+

The Book of Boba Fett will consist of seven episodes in total, with the first episode releasing Wednesday, December 29, 2021 – the subsequent episodes will release weekly on Wednesdays until February 9, 2022.

You can watch The Book of Boba Fett on the streaming service Disney+. If you're not already subscribed, you can sign up for £7.99 a month, or £79.90 for an entire year.

Unfortunately, there's currently no way to get a free trial for Disney+, but you may be able to save some money if your mobile network provider is O2, as they offer six months of Disney+ free for upgrading and new customers as part of their Extra deals.

The Book of Boba Fett is streaming now on Disney+ with new episodes releasing Wednesdays. The Mandalorian seasons 1 and 2 are streaming now on Disney+. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and the entire Skywalker Saga are available on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K now, as well as on Disney+, while Rise of Skywalker is also on Sky Cinema Premiere and NOW.
