When does Kamala Khan debut on our screens in Ms. Marvel?

What If…? has concluded. The most recent addition to Disney Plus‘ ever-growing Marvel landscape, it followed in the footsteps of WandaVision The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki by giving fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe a completely different kind of experience, taking what they thought they knew and resetting some variables to produces some very different timelines and universes.

With What If…?‘s finale now out for the world to enjoy, MCU fans set their sights on what’s next in the Disney Plus/Marvel Studios calendar. As for the next canon live-action series, that’s Hawkeye, which is coming your way sooner than you think. The one after that, however, is Ms. Marvel.

The latter series will center on Kamala Khan, the Marvel Comics character introduced back in 2013 that made history by becoming Marvel’s first ever Muslim character to headline her own series. Now, she headlines her own TV series, with Iman Vellani portraying her in the show.

With recent set photos giving fans their first look at Vellani in costume and the confirmation that the character will return to team up with Monica Rambeau and Captain Marvel in The Marvels, there is a lot of anticipation around the series. But when can we expect it to premiere?

When does Ms. Marvel season 1, episode 1 come out?

Ms. Marvel hasn’t been given an exact premiere date yet but it is expected to debut in early 2022. It was initially supposed to premiere in fall 2021 but Hawkeye‘s Christmastime setting resulted in it taking that slot instead.

Still though, with Hawkeye starting in November and running until the end of the year and Ms. Marvel set to debut early into the year, we could have a situation similar to the one we saw with WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier – where one premieres shortly after the other wraps up.

Either way, Ms. Marvel will be premiering on Disney+ soon.
